Default This spoiler on a Roadster - what do you think, folks?

This is the SGI spoiler from DTM Autohaus in California... I am thinking of replacing my skinny-stock rear-deck-lid-spoiler with this whale-tail style...

Who thinks it would be okay for the roadster? My roadster, BTW, is identical color - Amulet red.

Later,
Shaka!

Wouldn't want it on mine, but to each his/her own. Too big IMO.

Hope you like to open the trunk to open the fuel cap. Also hides the nice fuel cap...

I think it is pretty cool, but again, it is a PITA (gas cap) and it hides the gas cap

Default Inside...

I was debating getting that spoiler a while back. But decided against is due to having to get the trunk repainted & it looks like the spoiler would hit the antenna of the roadster. If it didn't hit the antenna then I would definitely get it. Guess you could talk to the guys a dtmautohaus.com and check.

Keep us posted on whether or not is works out if you decide to pursue it.

Default too curvy, not unattractive but not right for the TT

The TT's shape is composed of flattened circles and planes, and the two are joined crisply (forming a distinct line or arc). There are no S-shaped curves on a TT.

Even though I'm not a fan of spoiled TTs, the OEM spoiler is in harmony with the rest of the vehicle. The spoiler in the pic is too curvy. It also looks like it was just plopped onto the car and not integral to it.

All IMTO. T = tasteful. :-)

I think it's sweet for the coupe but too over the top for the Roadster
