I've had the car since May of '02.
I have parked it on college campuses, in any number of questionable neighborhoods, and even in some airport lots.
Instead of parking way out in the middle of nowhere, she opted to park by her bosses' cars, figuring that they had nice cars, so they'd care.
Apparently not.
It's not bad, but I see it, and it angers me. Greatly.
But it's not like she can say anything to her superiors.
Oh, and for the record, I absolutely KNOW it happened today because I checked it after it came back from the shop yesterday, and it was parallel parked by a wall yesterday afternoon.

Dood, sooo sorry!
I'm sure it was just one of those bad luck/fate kinda things. She would never never let that thing be in harms way. You're right, no point in pursuing it with the bosses, would just start some crap and make work tense.
I have a whole "stop leaving the sunroof open" story that easily tops the ding event, try to let her off the hook.
The good news is those dent fix guys can do amazing stuff nowadays.

I got my first one on the Element the other day....>>
50% chance as 2 of the 4 side panels are plastic as you know. No such luck. Time to break out the Paintless dent repair tools...

Dude that sucks... I had made it about 6 years and 92k miles with mine
before I got my first in Tewksbury, MA last year. It was right on the crease ahead of the passenger door handle. Had Brad's PDR guy pop it out and it is absolutely gone. Those guys are magicians, find a good one and it'll be good as new.

Hey Chris, its only a car
That you have pampered, poured tons of $$ into, walked miles to avoid dings... Give her a hug, shes worth way more than an old TT. I'm lucky, I put the first and only door ding in my TT all by myself. Frankly I've never forgiven me.
