Default Steve, regarding the grounding...why did you put a terminal block

in picture #1? you could have simply put the three grounding wires together, no? what was the reasoning for this? and is this a Home Depot part that I should get as well? TIA.

Default The terminal block is not necessary, you could simply put the three grounding wires together...

That's what I'm going to do.

Default I di that just because..>>

I had it from my old Boat equipment stash, and I was gonna run a few more leads to it. One of those goes right to the body on that side of the car, so it's a good, easily accessible, tie in point. I still want to run one from the left side of the car to that block. Not necessary really, just convenience..!

Default thx all. you have enough slack since for the engine movement, yes?

I got an extra foot just in case I screw up. I'll have to see how it all maps out. I'll make a list of the lengths for others to follow, possibly...if I do it correctly.

Default thx Carlos. yes, makes sense. Better to cut a little more for each just in case

you need the slack.

and damn, its getting cold here...don't have too many days to put it in. With no garage, the winters kill me, besides not having much sunlight left, I feel the chill in the air.

Default I was told to do this:

Per my stereo shop: Start at the passengers side fender... do not do redundant connections. Fender to Coil Pack to FPR to TB to Fender to battery negative. Redundants can create ground loops and or noise. If you want to do trans ground, you can run a separate line or just put it in between the tb and fender.

Default sounds different that what TTschwing did...

passenger fender to coilpack 1?
then coilpack to FPR
FPR to Throttle body
TB to driver's fender
then driver's fender to battery neg terminal?

here's TTschwings pattern (correct me if i'm wrong steve)
passenger fender to terminal block
Coil pak and valve cover
valve cover to transmission block
valve cover to TB
battery neg terminal to driver's fender
i think i'm missing one more ground here...since steve has 7 total.

That's what we live for up in the northeast!
