Default Stolen 2000 180 TT Coupe in Newark... Recovered!!! Details inside... >>>

Plate #KG2 21D
Vehicle blew past me and we noticed the headlights were missing. We turned to chase the car and the subject got out and ran. He was caught and turned over to Newark (he was a juvenile). The vehicle was also turned over to Newark. I didn't recognize the vehicle from the forum. It was reported stolen today out of Irvington. Wasn't too much damage other than headlights missing, popped door lock and popped ignition. If this is your vehicle... contact Newark Police at (973) 733-6000

Smart thief. Driving around w/out any headlights. Did it have a plate that says STTOLEN?

I thought these things were close to impossible to hotwire, because of the chip in the key. Have I been misled? My understanding was that the only reasonable way to rip one off was by loading it on a flatbed.

Default Not really sure... the folks on the S4 forum have had a ton of them stolen in the NY/NJ...

area in the last year or so. Don't know how they are getting them.
