Stolen TT found!
My TT, that was stolen from my underground parking garage in Manhattan was returned!
One of the parking attendents took it for a joy ride and hit another car while at it. I have damage to the left front and rear parts, the front bumper (and probably the headlamp washer) as well as the headlamp itself.
The garage fired the attendent, but were not too forthcoming about notifying the NYPD. I pressed charges against the SOB.
THey offered to fix the car, as well as the other car that the idiot hit. I'm looking into my options - I'd rather settle but the currnet offer is a no starter. Does anyone know a good and not too sleazy lawyer in NYC that deals with such stuff?

Repaired Cars Not Worth Same Value as Unrepaired Cars
How many times have you sold or bought a used car and asked or been asked if the car has been in an accident? When I tell someone my daughter hit someone in the back or they tell me their car was hit, the deal most often stops.
Most dealers would agree that a hit car that has been repaired does not carry the same value. At least I have been told that by several dealers.
I would sue for replacement value or at least enough funds to pay the lawyer and then repair the car and buy a new one. When it comes to cars, most men I think, want a virgin car more than a virgin woman.
My $0.02

Make them replace it.. It's probably Kinney, and they can afford it.
Otherwise I would sue the living daylights out of them, and frankly I think most NYC reputable attorneys could do this. You might want to ask the police, they do deal with attorneys a lot and if you get a nice officer, he might be able to point you in the right direction.
