Stongard, invinca-shield, x-pel or other?
Hi guys,
can you please post your experience and recommendation with Stongard, invinca-shield, x-pel or other clear protectant film on your cars? I found a professional installer in Chicago who will charge $600-$700 for the kit and installation. I now need to decide which one I will go with. I saw the websites but trust your opinion more. My TTR is 01 silver and the dealer will fix all the chips and light scratches from previous owner so I'm looking for some protection since I plan on keeping the car for a while. Thank you!

Well that is an OK price, I could not take your money but I would be OK with helping you (I will
... take wine). But again you would have to wait till spring and you need install stuff (spray). JIM

Thanks Jim, I might take you up on that .
Spring is fine since I wasn't planning on taking the car back to dealer to get it detailed before the weather gets nicer anyways. Should I just post a page for you on the forum then? Thanks again!

I had a custom StonGard job done. If you use the pre-cut kits, you'll see lots of lines.
When you go custom, they can tuck the edges behind things and you'll get better coverage.
I had Xpels on my lights and had the StonGard installer re-do them. The SG stuff was a little thicker than Xpel.
