Default stupid canadian TT's!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr >:-O

not only is the TT the only car sold in Canada (that I've been able to find) that requires bumper tumors... it turns out its possibly also the only car sold in Canada that has a Kmh speedo ONLY (no mph markers)

WTF??

do you have to memorize the kmh to mph conversion so you can drive in the US?

this sucks for me because I plan to do ALOT of driving back down into the US... and I don't mean just across the border for a half day.. I mean cross country.

None of Audi models sold in Canada has a dual speedo markings, it's just km/h. I drove tens of thousands kilometers across US in my many trips (both east to west and north to south)in my old 5000 Turbo Quattro and never missed mph markings. All I needed to know was the conversion of 55mph, 65mph and 75mph. It's not so difficult, you will get used to it.

Default Had this same problem driving between Rep of Ireland and Northern Ireland

The car we rented in the Republic had a km/h speedo, and the Republic of Ireland marks their roads in km/h... no problem. Passing into Northern Ireland was a shock, as they mark speeds in MPH.

Just remember the key number approximations:
60 mph ~ 100 km/h
75 mph ~ 120 km/h
120mph ~ 190 km/h

BTW, why do you need to change the speedo? isn't the bumper tumor mod enough for them?
