Just a quick pic of an unfinished box without the guard. I'd like to get the center part more flush. Was possible with a JL W3 and a fiberglass bottom (v.1) , but not with the W6 and a wood bottom (v.2). As I mentioned before, the fiberglass bottom rattled too much even with dynamat "extreme", thus v.2. My installer guy is going to try to make the sub a little more flush with the rest of the floor. The box and the rest of the hatch floor are covered with the same material.
XM brain on the left where the cd changer once resided, 2 amps and Quart crossovers on the right where the first aid kit used to be, a la John P.
I'll post more pics when this beast is done.
Cheers,
Rich

Nice bro.. That W6 looks like it needs a real big box..
I ended up having to do something similar with box, but I tappered the sides off, so its kinda oval shaped..

sounds good, just re-doing it to get it flatter for more cargo space.
I'm still apt to throw my mtn bike in there and want to keep as much space as possible back there. Let me know what you find out at that shop, still open for ideas for this new box. Thanks,
Rich
