Default Survey: Denver stealership satisfaction?

Does Prestige give better service than McDonald?

My car's in the shop getting the flywheel replaced @ 31K miles- Was to be ready last Friday, isn't ready yet- The few times it's been in for warranty repair, the dealer starts out with the "we'll have to see about the warranty coverage, 'cause of the mods to your car". Somehow I don't think that an aftermarket airbox and catback exhaust constitute engine mods- Are there any local shops that are "certified" for Audi warranty repairs, or just the dealers? TIA for your opinions.

Default Yes >>>

Prestige is the least sucky of the bunch.... Ive had nothing but bad luck with McDonald, and most people on the Rocky Mountain forum seem to have the same experience.

How does a flywheel go bad? My last 7 standard shift vehicles never had a f.w. problem....and there some pretty crappy cars in that bunch.

Default We prefer Prestige. Bought the A4 & TT there and only have them serviced there.

Over 4 years there was a dip in Prestige's service but it's back to top notch (or at least good luck for me).

I've heard horror stories about McDonald. sTTacey had her windshild broken there. They basically told her, "**** happens".

We tried 3rd party Champaign Motors. They took a week to change the timing belt on the A4 (3.0L) and couldn't finish the job. They took it to Prestige and they redid the entire job and billed the original shop. Kept it touch with us during the entire process.

On two occasions I needed a very small item looked at. One was the side-marker on the TT and ther other a Xenon lamp in the A4. They came out in the lot and changed it when we pulled up without any paperwork and got us on our way. Now that's service.

We also had to have the dead A4 towed in after hours. They received it after hours and even called us to let us know everything went okay in the exchange.

I'm very happy with Prestige Imports. Plus they sell other nice cars called Porsche's.
