Default Suspension parts that need to be replaced:

I'm going to be installing my koni coilovers in the next week or so, and I wanted to be sure about what does/does not need to be replaced...so far i have just the strut bearings and mounts, but a friend mentioned the lower shock bolt for the rear shock as well...necessary?

please reply if there's something else that should be replaced...so hopefully this will help when people search in the future. thanks.

Default I didn't replace anything on mine. Maybe if the miles are higher.

I did just have a strut bearing go bad at 46K miles. A couple of things I suggest, on the front, make sure to disconect the light leveling arm from the suspension. Disconect the roll bar to allow the suspension to drop down much farther. And you'll need a special little tool that looks a flat screw driver bit. You'll need it to spead the clamping on the bottom of the shock. I think it's a Porche tool. Good luck.
