Default Suspension Questoin

Now this may spark some discussion, but I was just curious (realistically)what the consequences of installing some eibach 1.1" drop springs without adding aftermarket shocks. I know that when I carry heavy loads the back of the car drops atleast 3/4 of an inch and I can feel no bouncing. I realize that handling would be better with new shocks...but could I get by with my stockies? Thanks

Default No... it's about operating range...

The stock shocks, though they are both weak and wear out...are not meant to operate in the range of 1 inch lower.

Default You will have to change them soon enough.

Even if they are OK now it will not take long for them to give up with lower springs. Don't go through the time/trouble/cost of two installs. Do it all at the same time and drive happily ever after :-)
