Default water is not a big deal, but in the winter it will freeze up. Will the system be ok

without water in it or does it have to be removed? Any negative effects on the engine if aquamist is not tuned properly or malfunctions?

Default yeah, living on the east coast is so much different than living on the west for these kinds

of issues. i'm concerned about winter as well.

Default I doubt there will be problems with your car; during the winter just put in washer fluid from Audi

interesting fact: Audi's washer fluid has a great meth/water ratio.

atleast it won't freeze.

Default so you think that washer fluid can be injected safely into the intake?

Plus what about my other question regarding malfunction of aquamist and that causing damage to engine. I suppose anything is possible, but will it be easy to spot before it can cause any damage?

Default Yeah, Aquamist has LED you can place into your cabin which will let you know if the nozzles are

clogged, water is low, etc.

I think their 2d and 2s systems have abilities to tell ECU's to go to lower boost levels if the ECU supports it (such as piggy back ecu's) ... or if you are running an EBC with dual settings like the Profec, I'm sure you can set it up to switch to a lower setting.

If you left your programming alone, your ECU will automatically pull back timing if it detects a ping so from what I know its pretty safe.

Default sounds very interesting. Don't know if I'll be able to jump on this deal since I still have a few

other mods to do before I'll really need this, but never-the-less, thanks a lot for your help with understanding this a bit more.

Default OK, put me down for a 2d.

Can you organize a group install at AMS too? (Seems like they should get efficient if they're doing a couple in a row.)

Do you not think it could handle a 100 Octane program using 91 Oct gas with the Aquamist?

Default I'm not sure about 100 octane. I'm probably sure you can run 93. Log your car with Vag-Com

if your car is doing well, go advance the timing with Lemmiwinks.
