Default For those of you that have had window problems.....I have a question.....

My passengers window requires a "reset" as per
the owners manual almost everytime I lower it
less then all the way down, or else it will
bounce back down halfway. After the reset the
window will stay up, but it will happen again
the next time the window is lowered only part
way. The drives side window seems to be fine,
no problems with only going half way down and
back up.

I think I have seen a few others with this sort
of a problem, and the result has sometimes been
the replacement of the motor or regulator. So
after this has been done, has it totally fixed
the problem??

I wouldn't mind the reset procedure if it was
only once in a while, but it's almost everytime
for this window.

Default Part upgrade

My dealer told me that if mine kept doing this (which it did not) that there is a "sensor wheel" upgrade that they can do that should fix the problem.

Default Motors Replaced.

First my drivers window failed- wouldn't go up or down - dealer replaced motor - this was over 6 months ago and so far everything okay - now my passenger window did same thing and just last week had that motor replaced. So hopefully everything will work now

My pasenger window did exactly the same thing. They first replaced the motor but that didn't help. They just replaced the regulator and that fixed the problem.
