Those of you using wheel adapters.
I can't find wheel adapters that will convert the 5x100 to 5x114.3. I am going to make these myself using CAD and CNC machines. Can you tell me or post some pictures on how exactly these things work. I figure that the studs are pressed into the spacer to fit through the bolt holes on the wheels, but how is the spacer bolted to the hub?
TIA

Thanks but I need more info than that. What size spacers are you running?

What is the offset of your wheels? You have 10" wide wheels right? What size do you have in the front? I found 1" wide adapters which might work in the back but not in the front. The wheels I'm looking at are 9.5" in the back and 8.5" in the front. Both have 35mm offset. Will the 1" rear spacer work? I could get a different bolt pattern in the front so I could use H&R adapters. H&R doesn't make a 5x100 to 5x114.3 (4.5") adapter for the rear though.
Any help would be appreciated.
This may not make any sense though.
Here are the wheels I'm in love with.

you'll want to have no more that 15 - 18mm spacer in the rear with an ET 35mm
that'll give you 17 - 20 mm, 16 mm with a 9.5 width will start to rub with your car lowered and a camber of -1.35.
The fronts can also have an ET of 20mm using a 8.5in width rim with no problems. Any lower, your rims will go well past the fender.

these guys make adapters for a buttload of fitments...
...obviously, they focus on adapters for their own wheel line, but I'd give them a call to see what they can do (ask for Joe).

RH Wheels USA
