Default Those of you who have used the Metra 70-1787 wiring harness were you able to use

this with your CD changer or Phatnoise which uses the Audi CD wiring harness. I read through serveral threads but one really talks about this option.

Default The OEM changer will not work>>>

with an alternate head unit...as i recall..Phatnoise is compatible with Kenwood(that i know of) and is called Music Keg in Kenwood terms....A new cable and firmware release is what is needed....

Default Thanks, was hoping to just change the firmware and be able to use

the exist wiring harness by using the CD feature of the Kenwood like I do with the Concert 2 radio.

I guest I shall look into this a little more.
