Default Thoughts on best cross-drilled brake rotors????

I'd like to keep the same calipers and set up, not looking for that much more braking performance now- just want the functional and appearance improvement from cross-drilled...

Looking for your experiences/thoughts/recommendations on what to get.

Thanx

Default I just had Zimmermanns installed on the fronts...

I was looking for more aggressive looks and more importantly better wet braking performance. On my car at least if the roads are very wet and it is raining hard I will have very little initial stopping power, especially on the highway. The Zimmermanns have improved this but not entirely eliminated it. The nice thing tho is if you keep pressure on the brake pedal the brakes do bite, the OEMs wouldn't.
The other thing to look for is cadmium plated rotors (I believe that's what it is). This will help keep the rotors from rusting like mad.
ecs has a huge selection of brake upgrades for the TT. I think most of the folks on the forum who have done just rotor upgrades are using Zimmermann rotors.

and the brake pad wear down fast

Replace both pads and disks at the same time.
