timing belt

Default timing belt

getting ready to rplace the belt, will also replace the pump. ??? should i also replace the tensioner. also should i make sure the pump fan is metal. thanks

tensioner is the part that fails, so yes replace it.

Default What is a pump fan?

The TB job usually includes the belt, the tensioner and the water pump. It's usually a good idea to change the thermostat. The guys who don't like risking doing a job twice do the cam shaft seal.
