Default Tinkering with all of the covers under the hood the other day and was wondering

<center><img src="http://photos.scvtt.com/joecon/battery.JPG"></center><p>what all the red wires on the battery are for. Non of my previous cars had so much wiring coming from the battery, then again, non of my previous cars were that technologically advanced.

Sorry for the huge pic...how do you reduce it?

Default There is a junction block under the cover, just squeeze the two clips on either side. Makes more

sense when you see inside. HTH.

Default Audi has learned ...

from the bad old days that running properly sized wires directly to the battery is the most reliable means of wiring. A lesson yet to be learned by the "big-three".
