Default Tinting

Any suggestions for a shop to tint my TT's windows in Rockville Maryland area? And what is a reasonable cost?

Default 1st thing to you want to know is....

what type/brands of tint are premium quality and available in your area. Check several WELL-established tinting retailers who have/had experience with various brands. You can also get a lot of useful info by asking folks who have had their cars tinted on what brands are best.
You can have the best installer in the world, but if you put junk on, his work won't be worth a darn. And if you buy the best stuff and the installer stinks, you've got another mess. Incidentally, be sure the person does the rear glass in one piece!!!
I'm having my coupe done tomorrow with Formula One's top-of-line Millenium (non-mirrored metallized in 38%; Premier is their mirrored film). I had a lower quote for Llumar's top....made by same company with almost identical specs, yet the Formula is considered higher grade and with better warranty. I've decided to pay a bit more ($225) and go to place that does a better job than the one that installed Llumar on my Jetta last year.
The place also carries Matico and another? which are lower quality films. I would advise against dyed films; some can "purple" with time and bubble. I've heard 3M is OK stuff.
You'll get a lot of diff opinions, so do some research. Good luck...sorry I can't help you with Md. places.

And don't use metallic on your back window if you want radio reception.
