Tirerack question
#2
Had mine shipped to home address...service call in garage would have cost $35...
and then I would simply tip the guy. But I was energetic and did it myself. Frankly, it gets one to use muscles that you didn't know exist...until you're sore for a couple of days. Check around and see if they can do it for you @ your own home. Sorry, but don't trust sending it to the dealership. Just one opinion.

I had them drop ship the mounted wheels/tires to one of the local people they suggested. Saved me
hauling them to the garage. Nice thing was I found a great garage that loves Audi. The guy is a member of the Quattro Club and races at Lime Rock. LarryTT had him put his brakes on. Now, I have a tire guy and someone to do non-warranty work when the time comes.

Just ordered my LM-22 / Miglia Spiders to ship home...
...I was scared away from the Borbet's because of a comment here about the wrench not fitting in the lug recess. Eddie at Tirerack said that they always throw the right tool in if that is the case, but with the Spiders I'm not supposed to need it...
$980 delivered, the only downside is that I don't know when I'm getting them, I think he said the Spiders were b/od until 10-Dec.
