Default Took Dr. Schwing's advice about the possible vacuum leaks...

Ended up finding what appeared to be a tiny break in the vacuum hose to the FPR, probably happened when I switched the 4bar on. As a quick fix, I just cut the end of the hose a little and re-attached it. Block 32 now reads -4.5% partial throttle and about -1.3% at idle. Here's a graph of a pull in 3rd gear (I ran out of road):

I also noticed that boost seemed to hold much higher/better at about 80% throttle, I guess the throttle stop mod will be next and I'll see if that helps with holding higher boost.

On another note, does about 171g/s peak flow on the MAF seem right? TIA!

Default Thanks, guess I'll have an extra MAF from ECS now. About the throttle stop mod...

I found an old post of yours saying to use a piece about 3/8". Is that refering to the amount of addition to the throttle stop, or the total length of the piece to be added?

Default Plan to log differences between BM, APR 93oct (BM off), and stock later tonight if possible

Car only has VTDA and **** other than the BM.

Default Results after some late night VAGing, boost improvement, but not speed?

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong here, but I did 3rd gear pulls from around 2k rpm to redline. All tests include VTDA and ****. The boost results look great, but the time graph doesn't show an improvement for BM over just chipped (colours for BM and APR are different in the 2 graphs; too lazy to fix).

Let me know what you guys think. I'll probably be doing a few more logs.

Default Probably time for an FMIC...>>>

As I've said numerous times, it's not all about boost. With pressure comes heat. You'll get the best results with more cooling mods in place. This chart from Maalish's Stage 3 review....

Default I was hoping for something like that. Anyway, FMIC will be on soon, hope it helps : )

Will do more testing once my other mods are done.
