My brother just called me from St Barts in the Caribe where he's vacationing. Great place if you've never been. A department of France, so you're in France when your in SB. The island is eight miles around the perimeter. The roads are narrow but the locals drive them with studied abandon. The island is ringed with go-topless beaches (and one that's bottomless, too). The surf is reef perfect. The food, out of this world. But it's a small island with only 3000 year round residents. Variety is not exactly what you can expect.

So what does my Bro see coming down the coastal road in Lorient as he's downing a beer at Jo Jo's? A Desert Green 225 TTRQ! LOL! Topless in SB!

There's no dealership there of ANY kind and the basic transport is Suzuki Samurais and RAVs. A few Peugeots and those weird French mail trucks. Two gas stations! Scary! So, how does the owner take care of that sure to fail DV and the 'what a pain' clips? Who's going to recode the Bose? What if he has to change out a headlight?

Paradise lost. Interesting.

The church in Lorient or Gustavia? Both are cool but the one in Lorient goes back to 17 something.
