My late build 2001 has no issue with the cig plug. My Elise had the floppy euro spec.

I KNEW IT. i was just recently posting about this.

How does it look from the back, connectors? when did they switch over to the non euro style.

Is it a deeper socket than the euro one?

looks the same from the back. didn't closely examine socket depth.
