Trans problem
I have been having problems with shifting lately. I have had to put a lot of pressure to get my car to go into gear. Plus when going out of reverse it stays in reverse. I set there and move the shifter around and it finally comes back up to go into first. It seems like after it warms up for a bit shifting gets a little better. Also if I set there while warming and leave the clutch in and shift through all gears a few time it gets better. The weather has been really cold here in Fort Worth. Could that have a hand in this. This is the first time my car has done this and I driven in cold weather before. Any ideas? TIA

colder weather makes for crappy shifting.. >>
i have redline MTL in there and have to double clutch my way to work... try checking shift linkage and then replacing your MTL.. i recommend 2 qts redline MT-90 and 1 quart MTF (for the cold days)

My car sits outside at 15 degrees and shifts just fine. I've got MT-90 in mine and with the DG short shifter. No issues at all.
You could have low fluid from a leak or binding on the synchros or they are simply worn out. How many miles?
