trouble removing upper strut bolt

installing coilovers on my fwd tt how do you remove the upper bolt to take out the strut

Air tools or..>>

A 13/16th spark plug socket with a 7mm (I think) hex down through the middle to hold the shaft while you loosen with a wrench on the Spark plug socket flutes..

(an imoact gun will spin them right off with no tools needed though)
