Default trunk release/gas release/alarm sensor button ?'s

Being a newbie TT owner.. I have a ?..... Is there some way to disable these buttons? Mine don't work!! All 3!! I need gas!!!!
I thought I would ask before making an appointment with the dealership...
I though maybe I did something to disable the buttons...

Thanks!

Other than an electrical/wiring problem, the switches cannot be "shut off." See the dealer!

Default Re: alarm sensor button?

I've been wondering about this. My manual shows it (in the middle), but my car ('01 TTRQ225, U.S.) doesn't have the button - just a "plug". Were motion sensors an option? Or only available on coupes?

Also, I kept reading about some sort of pulsed radar security for top-down use...any truth to that either?

Default There's an emergency release cable in the trunk for the gas cap behind the kick-panel..

If your trunk release does not work on the remote, the emergency release for the hatch is under the cup holder.

Default Fix...

I think I remember someone saying pull fuse #5 for a minute and then replace it. Should work after that. If not there is the open both doors and then close them and start the car trick...! It happened to me once and never came back!
