Try being a passanger in the TT road of life...
Just took my bigshot lawyer uncle for a drive....He was absolutely amazed at the handling and performance of the car...had never driven one before, but is a car enthusiast who currently has an XJR.
He said that it was a blast to drive and he taught me how to really use standard to one's advantage. See, I learned standard on the TT a year ago, and of course the conservative car school instructor did not teach me how to do specialty things (e.g., double clutch to match revs, take off from a green light already at 5000 rpm, etc.). It was a great opportunity to finally sit in the passenger seat and enjoy the ride. I did not recognize it was my TT for a few moments there...I seem to drive like an old man sometimes, but hey no tickets yet
If any of you have the chance, try being a passanger for a change. It allows you to gain new perspective on the treat of TT ownership.
