tt 225 question: is the MAP sensor plugged into the driver's side intercooler?or on a separate pipe?

Default In a plastic pipe...>>

In between the Drivers IC and the Manifold. Look down just in front of your battery (might have to remove the plastic) and you''ll see it.

the pic i posted below looks exactly like a TT intercooler...i wonder what it came from since it has the map sensor built in.

Superimposed on the upper left side of the clutch in your Pic!!

(on the passenger's side right?)

Default 180 only has one IC...>>

On the passenger side. Intake manifold is reversed and plumbing to it shorter as a result..
Guess that's why the mounted the sensor in the IC...
