Did you buy the Audi Huckepack G1? I have been trying to find that seat here in the U.S., but have not.. I am thinking of having someone bring me that one from England in a few weeks, but won't if it doesn't fit well.

The question is: Is it an ISOFIX (or LATCH) seat? I have called Audi of America to find out if the TT is indeed equipped with that system, since I have only found the top-tether mount and not the two mount points that are supposed to be in the gap between the rear seat cushion and seat back. Does your British TT have those pieces?

If not, the best child seat I know of is the Bri-Tax, very easy to put in and out. But I think any rear-facing seat will be a challenge if you want a passenger in the seat in front of it. I have found a standard front-facing seat to be almost too deep and it means the passenger seat needs to be almost all the way forward. Very uncomfortable. Booster seats (for 40 pounds and larger) work much better and my 4 1/2 year old is very comfortable.

Porsche uses Britax car seats. The forward-facig models are supposed to fit in the back of a 911, so they should fit in the back of a TT. Go to www.childseat.com (Britax) or www.porsche.com to check them out

http://www.childseat.com</a
