CAR DIDNT SELL ON EBAY!!!

I know it seems as if it is a down grade, but my car is now 5 years old, and the warranty is up for good as of may. With this in mind, i dont wanna get caught with my pants down on this car, since parts/labor can be quite high. Im looking to get an 04 or an 05 STI or EVO with under 35,000 miles. I understand im going from luxury to a kid car basically but i need a newer everyday driver i guess, and want to get a car with a payment down around 400 or even 350.

BTW. I know i said i was going to buy a M3, but im getting bad vibes from insruace companies, and cheapest i can find is like $36,000 with like 50K on it. SOOOO looking for bang for the buck.

Any suggestions? would be helpful.

Default well, I drove moded sti for few days..its not bad..

or maybe because its moded (0-60 about 4.5s)

but if you sell the car just because of out of waranty, you might want to keep it. As I remember, my car has no problem and never go to the dealer during the waranty, other than just changing oil.

and if u buy m3 with 50k mileage, it would be out of waranty too right?

btw what was the last bid on ebay for ur car? I was thinking to use ebay to sell my car too..but seems its not a good idea?

Default not a good idea at all. only people on foodstamps try to buy your car there for like $10,000

no offense to anyone driving a TT here that uses food stamps it was a joke, but its almost like everyone wants something for free on there. Im going to try to use autotrader next time.
My final bid after a retractment was $14,200

Default get a vette...

You can pick up a 2002 z06 for close to 30-35grand w/ less than 20kmiles...Vettes are the best bang for the buck out there! No question. And my insurance only went up 44bucks a year

Default My mother once told me that if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything.

Mitsubishi has nice interference engines, just like the TT.

That's the only nice thing I can think of to say.

Have you checked out Carmax lately. Lots of nice newer cars with extended warranties available in the price range.

Default I'd go with the Subaru...I'd be affraid of Mitsubishi pulling out of the US.

their sales are in the dumps.....Pimp is right for the money the Vette is the best bang....or a new Mustang GT...

Default the evo is nice >>

took a drive in one a few months back. very fast. suspension is tight... shifting is tight. interior is decent... seats are awesome. plus they are cheap compared to the TT to mod. like $1500 and you are ~300hp at the wheels.

Default Just wait for the R36. VW will be more helpful with the lease/payment

Wait for the R36. I love the pics that I have seen. Should be close to 300hp with no turbos :-). Since every ricer and kid wants an Evo and Sti, their value is holding.
