TT coupe, roadster or B5 S4 ?
I am moving from western Mass. to San Diego over summer and as my '99 A4 is approaching 90000 miles, I am thinking about getting a new (used) car. Who here has a TT as their only car ? Coupe or convertible ? I believe the trunk in the TT roadster is very small so I am a bit concerned about that but the weather in southern CA is just too nice not to consider getting one. The other option is getting a B5 S4 with low mileage, which is a great car but not that much different from my current car.

In Wisconsin: 02 225 TTQR daily driver; 40 F or warmer...topless!
Living it, loving it, driving it. Best time I've ever had on four wheels. Still getting compliments on interior, style, shine, etc.

No question that it looks better overall as a coupe, but you're incorrect: during design, the two...
... bodystyles were designed concurrently. In fact, the concept car that you see most often is the Nimbus Roadster, below:

Have experience with both TT Coupe and B5 S4...
I love the S4 and only recently got the TT 3.2 DSG for a change, keeping the S4 (wife now owns).
Both are outstanding cars, but the nod goes to the S4 for utility. The TT gets the nod for style/design. With the seats folded down, there is adequate room for storage.
