TT Hardtop price?
I have been trying to sell my 2001 TT (original owner) without luck so I'm considering selling the hardtop separately. Anyone know what a hardtop will fetch these days? I do know they are very rare since Audi stopped producing them in 2003 or 2004 and they've never been officially imported to the U.S. I can supply almost all of the required mounting hardware except for the trim piece (see the following link) and I believe that can still be sourced through Audi. Or alternatively a clear bra material could be used in place of the trim piece.
Here's a link to the required hardware mounting pieces:https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho...hlight=Hardtop
Here's a pic of the hardtop on the car..http://m.autotrader.com/(S(skpoo1mhx...d%26model%3dTT

I have a hardtop I imported from England and al in after duties and tax I paid $2400.00 Canadian I found that prices where between 1800 to 3500 US when I was searching. Most where willing to deal but shipping is the killer.if you are selling with car it is worth less as most roadster buyers don't want the hardtop.I know of one in the states for sale for 3500 and lots of tire kickers no buyers.Good luck with the sale.

Very veery rare. high 3s, low 4 figures IMO. Significantly more than if you include it with the car. It's one of those items that don't go down in price with age...only up.

cheers.
