Default TT License Plate Frames

Last week I read on this forum about a specially designed license plate frame, but cannot find the posting and pictures now. Any idea when that conversation took place?

Default Roger at Becart in NC - Beautiful frames from a solid piece of aluminum. Nothing comparable IMHO.

Does anyone know if an acrylic plate cover will fit underneath?

Not unless it is super thin since the plate actually slides into a groove in the aluminum.

I just saw the plates last night. I'm going to order a smooth one (no dimples). They are sharp!
