TT overheating

My 2002 Audi TT Quattro started overheating couple days ago. Also A/C won't work. No cooling. A/C compressor is charged, there's freon. Coolant is also normal level. What happened? Anyone? Is it an electronic problem?

hmm... could be coolant temp sensor and/or the water pump impeller...

have gone bad.

Have either the coolant temp sensor or water pump been replaced already?

not likely to be your problem but.....

I had a weird case were the box ontop of the battery that holds some fuses actually melted (caused problems with my AC)
and I had the Fan stop before which caused some overheating (do you hear your fan kick on?)
