Default TT Water Damage Update!!!

well finally after a week and half of sitting at the dealer, the TT was checked out.
for those of you that didnt see my initial post....i didnt see a huge puddle and drove through it too fast. Well water went straight up my EVO cold air intake and into the motor. The car died on me and so i had it towed to the dealer the next morning....

Yesterday my Service advisor called me to say that they had to drop my oil pan and it would cost me $300. Today he called me and said that they took a bunch of stuff apart and found water in the motor, the plugs and who knows where else....they got the car started and it was running really rough (putting).
well now he says i need new plugs-$316 and maybe a new air flow sensor, another $400....

how does this sound to you all.... am i getting scammed, is there anything i can check to verify the work, will the car run the same again...????

any advice would be appreciated....TIA

Default 360 for plugs is a real ripoff. I mean complete scam.

And so it that price for the MAF.

Tow it to another dealer. That's bs. Clear the codes is 10 seconds.

You're getting ripped...or the dealer is just a dick...or both.

Default Just hope you didn't hydrolock it, which can easily bend rods...

the lowered compression could explain the rough running. I'd have them do a compression check before you put any money into it.
