Question - When laying flat on a table as in the picture, how wide is the unit where....
it attaches to the gadget?
I need to know because I have the video screen that it may interfere with.

Beyond the vents? Figure about an inch as the ball is 1 inch and the stand-off brings it out to the vent plane. Add a little for the clamp arm too. If your screen flips up against the vents it won't work...
