Default Seriously TTuned, I'm right there with you.So much so that it I'm considering it again.Never thought

it was possible to really do well (or affordably).

Default Seriously, I'd like to see a good clean finish to the interior trim work and a glass option for the

metal skin as an alternative replacement piece. Does anyone know what it would cost to mold a piece of automotive glass to the shape of the roof?

Probably a lot considering all the baby seals that would have to be clubbed in order to fab it up.

Default I would be skeptical of his instructions

He actually e-mailed me once asking if I was putting out a targa "kit", since I've posted before about how I was interested in doing it as well.

In the e-mail he admitted not telling everyone all of the information because he doesn't want to be held responsible if someone messes up. I'm not sure why he thought this was the best idea, but it is what he does.

I replied back saying how not being fully informed will only lead to more possible mishaps, but never heard back from him.

It's a shame because I really do want to do this, but since he doesn't want to share his information I will have to start cutting and go from there. :-)

Default there is some truth in that>>>>>>

I accept absoultly no responsabilty for anyone here that attempts this project. I did hold back before on giving the complete directions because the concept was still not finished. I need to consult with some legal advise before i post anymore about how it was done unless i just post the method on what i did, in good detail and let the rest of you assertain the steps. but if you want to make a kit tylor, shoot me a email, I will be willing to assist. you should be able to make a roof out of cf without much of a issue.
oh, i made a clear lexan roof for it, but it looked like garbage so it was scraped, im now working on a soft top that retracts.

Default it's more than just what you have chosen to share ...

it's also the manner in which you've chosen to share it. no offense, but everything about the work you've undertaken screams "hack". you are clearly quite creative, but you might want to partner with someone a bit more exacting if you plan on marketing/selling any of your ideas -- especially to the audi crowd.
