Well, the shocks are in! Here's a link to the pictures.
It took TTSchwing 4.5 hours to do the installation the first time. With the assistance of a wrench monkey (me) and the added knowledge from doing it himself on his own TT.
'We' did it in 3 hours this time.
All I can say is that I'm very grateful for the help. I wouldn't have done this mod if I had to pay a more traditional rate. 42 cans of beer ain't too bad I think! And, he really did know what he was doing!

Shocking Installation Pictures

He did wait to drink until afterwards... only water during the 'event'
...and yup, I manned the camera. That's about all I'm good for when it comes to mechanical things.
He did let me play with the air compressor though! I undid one bolt. ;-)

Bill Helped!! Helped by inspiring me with Beer!!...>>
Being the computer guy he is, and calculating a fair labor rate of 12 beers/hr, I actually owe him a 6 pak! At my current consumption rate of about 4/week, this will last me for awhile! Actually, having a wrench monkey around did speed things up a lot. We even had to drop the subframe on both sides on Bill's car. 3 hours appears to be my personal best on suspension swaps!

I'll share more about the ride after doing some serious driving...
...for now, I can say crossing railroad tracks and the like feel more solid. Taking turns, the car responds much better.
I can wait to hit the twisties. :-)
