Default Update: Local shop just quoted me $1200 for everything...

80K, timing belt kit (including water pump)...I'm pretty sure they're a good shop. They do local ferarri's and had a bunch of porsche's and bmw's in the parking lot. Much better than the $1900 from the dealer...but of course I don't get a loaner.

Default That's damn expensive still... I was quoted $700-800 at all the local shops..

including many that specialize in race Porsches and high end cars as well...

Was that for both the TB and the 80k service?

Default Oh, that was just the timing belt... what's included in the 80K?

Isn't it just an oil and Haldex change?

Default Still quite a bit.... I would think more like $1K including the Haldex...

haldex is about $120 at a regular shop. $200 at the dealership...

Default yeah..you know i just couldn't find another place in the area that I would take my car to...

So I'll probably suck it up and pay it. Compared to my other option (the dealer) this seems pretty good to me. I'm going to keep looking around the area but I don't want to drive too far also b/c its my only mode of transportation and it's already going to be out of commission for at least a whole day if not two. Thanks for your help though. I am very envious of your set up btw.. I need to start modding.
