Default Update: on my sticking revs issue - problem finally resolved. Fix inside....

as per the details in my old post below... was indeed the accelerator pedal assembly (assy. includes throttle position sensors/potentiometers). Replaced under warranty.

Apparently it is heat affected area down there since it's up against the firewall. Audi also have a revised pedal assembly for whatever reason.
