after a looooonnnnngggg talk, made her read the responses that everybody posted up. she started crying and apologized to me over and over again. she called up the airline and they told her there was absolutely no options. non-refundable, non-transferrable. she is considering just not going and actually we'll end up saving money that way, just losing the cost of the ticket. regardless, she realized she f'd up. i'm setting up an account just for me and that way there is no question. it is off limits to her. still can't afford TTE, but there will be others (crossing fingers....) and there will be other opportunities to meet people (waterfest? does anybody here go?). just thought i'd update everybody who posted. i think the reality of the situation set in. she now sees the light (i hope) Thanks again everybody. There is a difference between doing something without thinking and doing something because your a mean spirited self-centered bitch. Sounds like just made a mistake, maybe realized the error of her ways and will never do it again.
