Upon further inspection . . .

Anybody know what this might be? I posted yesterday about my brake problem. I wasn't sure what it was, but when braking at low speed it feels like the ABS is engaging. (The brake pedal shudders.) I thought it might be warped rotors but I read the info from stoptech and it seems that there is no such thing. Anyway . . . I took another look at the brakes and this time I checked out all four. The pic is of the driver side front, which is the only one with the scoring. What might this be?

Pull your pads out and take a look. (You will need to turn rotor to fix the vibration)
You've got something between the rotor and the pad (though it may not be there anymore) or a severely worn out pad. I think you're misunderstanding the StopTech brochure, though. They're probably talking about uneven depositing of pad material on the rotor resultant of improper break-in; but, absolutely, rotor can warp when they dissipate high heat and cool unevenly.
