Default US 225Q coupe delayed

I just got a call from my dealer (where I am #1 on the 225Q coupe waiting list) who says that his GM just returned from an AoA meeting where they told him that the 225Q coupe US intro will be delayed in favor of getting the roadsters to the US first. His best guess was that the delay would be a couple of months (i.e., end of summer deliveries). Has anyone else heard anything along these lines? I never expected to be hoping that my dealer has bad info (arghhhh, a longer wait).

My dealer told me (just this week) that they would expect 225Qs in around May. From what I read about turbo lag, I think I may just go ahead and get the 180Q instead. Do you know what the $$ is for the 225Q?

Default We know the price for the 225QCab is ~$41,500, so less than that (nt)

My dealer told me that they learned at a dealers' meeting in California a week or so ago that the 225 Coupe would come in the second quarter of the year; they anticipate April or May. They do not anticipate the Roadster until the third quarter. They did not seem to know whether the Roadster would come in 225 form right off the bat or not.

Default Say it ain't so AoA - we know you're out there

Frankly, if you tell us this the same week that all of this rear-end b.s. has come to life, I'll seriously re-consider the used 911. For the price of the 225Q ticket, I can get the same power, no turbo lag, more torque, a guarantee that it will hold its value, and a rear end that can be used to the experienced driver's advantage at high speed. My golf game's way downhill, so I'm beginning to care less that two sets of clubs will fit in the hatch (is anyone in northern NJ interested in a used set of Ping Eye2's?)
