I don't have a quick one. The pressure washer didn't do it to the Mintex dust on the fronts. I'll start the bidding at 35 minutes. Gel wheel cleaner and a brush, then rinse.

Default Ivan, wax your wheel with Zaino. Zaino repells the brake dust pretty good.

And hey, I'm not TTeasing this time

Default What I do...

I have a tendency to go up to the high pressure do-it-yourself wash up the street before washing my car, so that I can spray the bugs off the nose (I get a lot of bugs, living out in the country). When I go to do this, I drive up there, then spray P21S gel cleaner on the tires. I then pull into the vaccum bay, and vaccum out the car real quick for $.50, and then pull into the wash bay. I only use water to get the bugs off, and then I spray down the wheels last, then go over the whole car one more time in case gel splattered up onto the car. Total time the gel is on the wheels is *roughly* 10 minutes, and always is plenty of time to make the wheels sparkle. I absolutely love the stuff. Cool part about this procedure is, I'm not spending any *extra* time, except the 30 seconds or so to spray the stuff on.

Default Just how dirty are the wheels? How many miles?

Will you be leaving the wheel on the car to clean it, or will you be taking it off?

I have taken mine off and cleaned them and rewaxed them, all four in under 1 1/2 hours. Is that good or bad?

Default Sheesh. 500 miles of dust (2 weeks), wheels on car. Only outsides, not insides.

Unless you have a great way to clean the inside of the wheel without removing the wheel.

Removing the wheel? I know you did this before, Lar, but isn't that just the vitamin C overload talkin'?

Thanks again.
