70's and 00's - Typical 80's suck - but there was great music in the early 80's - Costello etc.
not to forget the Clash, X, The Jam, Bad Religion and the rest of the early punk pioneers........

I can't think of anything I much cared for from the "Roaring 20's"...
Most every one of the decades since then has produced both good and bad music. I usually think of the 70's when I think of bad popular music, but there was a whole lot of good stuff too.
