Valet Key Doesn't Lock/Unlock Door
Is the cold weather the culprit?
Mechanic had the car for two days in the meantime and when I picked it up it wasn't locked and I didn't realize that it wasn't armed until I got home and tried to lock it.
Can the key cylinder be replaced/cleaned? I haven't used my fob in 8 years since the key broke off the switchblade.. Maybe it's cheaper to get that key replaced/cut and replace the batteries at this point?
