Video from my first track day at the California Speedway!
I have posted some video from my first track day in my TT this last weekend. It was at the California Speedway's internal road course with Speed Ventures.
The biggest thing that found out about my car this weekend is that my tires SUCK. I'll be getting some Falken AZENIS RT-615's soon. I was doing pretty good for a stock 225TT with crappy tires though.

nice video, what kinda speeds were you hitting in straights and turns...>>>
and also what camera mount set up do you have? I made one a couple years ago for my offroading truck that mounts to the headrest. I need to do one now for the TT.

Check out this list that I will be running with next week...
I'll actually start off with the A4 and finish off with the TT. I get to see ariel atoms, a chiron, and some other $$$ cars with real good drivers duking it in this historic track. Hope the weather stays dry

Audi TT represent

Yeah, Speed Ventures was great and well run. They have a website that lets you pay and take care of everything ahead of time. The Roadster rules change per track; I know that Willow Springs is much more restrictive than others. I think that the rollover hoops on the TT Roadster makes it legal but double check ahead of time.
As for the camera mount. I have a tripod that is pretty flexable with leg angles and stuff so I put it in the back seat with one leg each behind the driver and passenger seats and one leg going all the way to the back of the car's 'trunk' to one of the tie off points. I then used some rope and strapped it down so it wouldn't move around. It held a Canon GL2 just fine. Maybe next time I set it up, I'll take some pictures of it.
