I don't know if you all caught that link I posted yesterday, but I tried it out and it works!

Here is what you do, climate control can be off or on. Press and hold the recirculate button(the swoosh arrow) and then press the up arrow button(that would make the dash blow air only [not defrost!])

Then you see 1c

To get the good readings turn the temp + to go up, and then press the recirculate button at the approperiate number.

17c Vehicle Speed (km/h)
27c Engine Speed (RPM)
51c Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) in deg C

It's pretty damn cool! I just wish I could get this data to display in the bose location radio info location }

https://www.audiworld.com/tech/int6.shtml

Default That is cool! Didn't realize that you could even get to those from the climate control.

I did see your post and I have actually seen that page before, guess it pays to read.

And agree that it would be super plus cool to have it display in the dash display!

Cool, but don't you already have speed, RPM, and coolant temp on the dash already? ;-)

Does the hud show °C as well? Or just the temp cluster display?

Default True but it looks cool, and the coolant temp is very vague, this is the actual #.

Even for rpms and speed it is a more acurate #. For example at the 3 hash on the tach the digital display will indicate 299(which equals 2990) or 300(3000) or 310(3100). All I can glean from looking at the needle and hash is 3000. The same with speed. And we all know how useless the coolant needle is....sits straight up 99% of the time. I got the actual *C readings which for me driving in todays ~20*F weather were 90-92*C for coolant temp.

Just though I would share it with everyone. No one said you HAD to use it

The instrument cluster temperature gauge can be made to show *C. To change, RTM

How do you get back to the climate control settings when you are done?

If only you you could load some new code into the display. It's all there on the network.
