Are we a crazy lot??

Looks like "we" are. I've said it before, this car attracts a class individual. All one has to do
is spend a little bit of time on this forum and it is readily apparent. Diverse personalities, interests, ages, careers, ad infinitem.... and one commonality. "The Car". Amazing; and heartening as well. Guess "crazy" suits me. (Now if my damn car would just get here!!)

Since I admit that owning this car has improved my life, and I do not feel pathetic about it...
does that make me crazy?
I have met so many wonderful people here. Some I only know from here. Some I know a little better from the weekly chat on Yahoo! Others I have met in person through the TT Club of America.
When we were in Highlands last week for the TTCA rally, people asked us constantly how we got together to form a club. At one point, a few of use were standing around scratching our heads trying to answer. I think it was because we did not want to admit that we met "on the internet." It sounds kinda lame, at first take. But it is a fact. We met on the internet, on Audiworld nee "A4.org" nee "JET's A4 pages".
I think there are 4-500 people that post and lurk just in the TT Forum here. Of that many, in the 10 months I have been here, maybe half a dozen were people that I would not spend the energy to get to know off-line.
As far as your question, I think the Miata group is the closest to this nuttiness. God bless 'em.
Ivan

Yes we are and we are not alone.
People at work, ones that drive mini vans, Camrys, Dodges etc who usually only talk about cars when they have a problem all of a sudden start coming by my office to tell me how great the TT is and start asking detailed questions about the car. People would gather in the parking lot to admire it. This car is a magnet. I just can't get over the response I've gotten even from strangers on the road. I guess we are no so crazy after all.

Know what I hate most?
People in other cars gawking at my TTQ get to see this beauty more often than I do. I only get to enjoy the insides and driving it. Oh well, can't have everything I guess. Ain't life a bitch? LOL
