Nice lookin PCV :)

I found a bit of oily residue down near my secondary air pump today and I'm wondering if the PCV has a leak or two and is spewing some oil. How much did all the parts for the PCV run you? John mentioned around 240 but curious if yours was more/less. I've never ordered from a dealer so I don't know if some dealers are pricier than others, or if the price on the parts is fairly standardized.

I ordered all my parts from an online source, so it was a little cheaper -

it was about $200 for everything (no clamps). I have about 5 online parts places I patronize . . . just use John's parts list if you have the same engine code and shop around. Dealer prices will vary greatly (as will online prices in some cases).

BTW, you should not have oil around your secondary air pump - you should check that out.

There was a small amount caked on one of the lines (looks like it had been there a while) and none on the top of the lower panel. I'm going to inspect the PCV over the next weekend or two and see if there's any around there that could be contributing, if there is I'll assume I have a leak or crack and replace the whole thing soon. I also had an oil change and clutch replacement, so part of me wonders if they were sloppy and that's MT fluid or something that they replaced while it was in the shop. Nevertheless, one more thing to check out.

Still curious why I got the EVAP code twice..argh..a laundry list of things to examine
